A fire risk assessment should provide all the important information and guidance.
Why you should care
It is a statutory requirement to carry out a fire risk assessment and to keep it under review (see RRFSO article 9). This applies to any man-made structure in England and Wales which is not a dwelling house, offshore installation, ship, mine or a borehole. If you employ 5 or more employees, the fire risk assessment must be properly documented.
